What do you think?

The game is very good, reminds me of the game"Alexander". Good luck in creating a cool game

midevil halo wars whats not to love!

This looks very promising, and i LOVE the fact that theres ragdolls! Just uh.. one tiny problem that probably only affects me.. The controls for moving the camera.. Maybe allow the player to drag the camera, or allow WASD and arrow controls to work? But that aside, this is very promising. Im looking forward to this!

Looks promising, Downloading it :)

New video I had a lot of fun with this game! Hope you all enjoy!

Bannermen is a medieval real-time strategy game with dynamic environments, taking place in a semi-fantasy world. Take on the role of a fallen lord on his journey back to become one of the mightiest in the realm. Experience a story-driven singleplayer campaign and make your banner strike fear into your opponents when challenging the multiplayer ladder in action packed skirmishes.

The game is designed to encourage players to interact with each other and the world, where the typical gameplay elements consist of base building, resource management and battling enemy armies efficiently. The maps and campaign missions vary in both length and shape where different environments allow unique traps and natural powers. This creates interesting variation and combat with greater strategic depth.

Bannermen contains something we call dynamic environments. This can for instance be player controlled nature powers like lightningstrikes that can burn forests or electrocute armies, snow blizzards that can freeze water and open new paths, and meteors that smashes into the ground leaving hot lava behind. A lot of the implemented dynamic properties have been suggested from the Bannermen community, and we canโ€™t wait to implement more!

Nature powers can be player controlled by building temples on religious spots on the map. This will allow the player to gain access to different nature powers depending on which religious spots that are controlled.

Bannermen contains various units - melee, range and spellcasters. Each unit fills a specific role and they are all designed to create balanced and interesting battles. A significant part of the game is to find powerful combinations and compose your army to counter your opponent.

Bannermen is currently in development, but we have released this pre-alpha demo! The demo is totally free and consists of one singleplayer mission where you get to learn the basics of the game. Important to know is that this is a very early demo and that the performance, visuals, sounds and gameplay will be vastly improved as the development progresses. However, we really want to know your initial thoughts, so please provide us your feedback after you've tested the demo!

Also, be sure to follow our progress at Facebook and sign up for the Bannermen newsletter at bannermen.net

Thanks!
